What did they die of? It kind of looks like hardcore acne. Whatever it is… it is sweet, I love the comic.
I was thinking it was the ghostly remains of some venereal disease that came back to haunt them. But who knows? The house does not easily give up its secrets.

I had always felt confused by this particular cliché, you know?

Very confusing to me.
