  1. From a quickening corpse deputation
Came claims of a cramped excavation
Though it was a bit rude
    He devoured the dude
Who tried to conceal his stagnation

  2. Okay, I have to say that my favorite thing about this group of illustrations is that little mustache on the gravedigger. I don’t know why, but that’s funny. Also, I’m reminded of how sloppy zombies are. They NEVER wipe their mouths after eating. Very rude. Even wolfmen (wolf-people to be fair) lick their chops clean when they’re done. “Intoxicating Fragarance!” Only to a zombie could a gravedigger be described like that. Thanks guys. This stuff cracks me up.

  3. I love these! the drawing style is so fresh and appealing, and the subject matter couldn’t be better. Have you ever seen or heard of this book? I’m really reminded of it, in the best way. I will definitely be back for more.

    • Thank you for the kind words! I have heard of Frankenstein Makes A Sandwich and it is deeply flattering to have our work in any way compared to that of Adam Rex. I’m embarrassed to admit that while several of his books are on my Amazon shopping list, I’ve never actually read any of his work (I have a ridiculous stack of books to work through as it is — there never seems to be time for them all!). From what I’ve seen online, he is a fantastic illustrator.

It’s always great to get feedback from new readers — please keep in touch and let us know how you think we’re doing from time-to-time.
