I have to admit, I wasn’t sure this was going to happen. I knew about it, but I wasn’t sure it was going to happen. Then when I heard about Julie setting an appointment, I was cautiously enthusiastic. It is an absolutely awesome tattoo (I’m biased) and we can thank God that it wasn’t a drawing from me. I draw bad stick figures :)

that is QUITE the complement and you sound like a proud papa…LOL! you should sign her leg so that she can have it tatooed on ;-)

No, nothing had been mentioned to me about the tattoo. I found out about it yesterday from your comment. It's a bit shocking for a guy who draws stuff for an audience of almost no one to find his work etched permanently on someone's leg. Heck, learning that someone really likes the comic is a bit shocking. Since you guys enjoyed that first strip so much, here's a little trivia about it. When Bob first approached me about the comic, I created a sample version of that strip to see how it would work. Unfortunately, we hadn't figured out the dimensions of the strip, so I had to redraw the whole thing. There are elements to the original version that I actually like a bit better than the version we ended up using on the site. You can see it here.

Julie is a dear friend and I completely take credit for her decision to put “Baby Brain-Eater” on her leg. “Man victorious” indeed. Short of said baby plunging to the ground in the same comic, this is likely my favorite of all your art thus far. Robert knew this was coming, but I’m not sure he believed it. I wonder if you knew as well?
